Extremely happy to see the design of our studio, Sparti TechLab, a new type of American Space from U.S. Embassy in Greece, to be constructed.
The aim of Sparti TechLab (which is part of six -former- American Spaces throughout the country) is to teach youth science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills and to function as platform that combats youth unemployment. The core of the design was a very versatile, open and user friendly space, having in mind the strong identity that this space will have in the local society. During our meeting with Cultural Affairs Specialists from the U.S. Embassy of Greece, staff and friends of the Central Public Library of Sparti, the construction was scheduled to be completed in early 2019. Lesson learnt as we finish our special project: Architecture is possible even in 50 sq.m. You'd better do your best!
A very unique house extension is under construction! Rough and sleek surfaces create high architectural contrast against the existing building. Stay tuned for more details!
